You Asked, We Answered
What are wax melts?
Wax melts are in essence a wickless candle. A scented wax that you melt in a wax warming device (electric or with a tealight) that once melted releases a far stronger and consistent fragrance than a candle. This is because you are melting at a higher and more consistent temperature and you are vaporising the scent.
How much wax should I use?
The amount of wax you should use depends on the size of your burner. Ideally you should aim to use around 10-15g per use. Each piece of wax should give you at least 8-12 hours of fragrance.
Should I use an electric or tealight burner?
This is a personal preference that varies between people. An electric burner heats up the wax by hot bulb, which is screwed in at the bottom. They don't get as hot as tea light burners so in comparison they don't give off as strong a scent, but is classed as safer than lasting longer if you want a continued aroma
